Community-Based Educational Travel:

Participants are taken to discover populations and landscapes authentic and preserved, towards a real and deep integration, always followed by the Association’ guides.

  • Learning
The antique agricultural skills, salt extraction, learning and discovering Nature with its infinite resources…

  • Sport Activities
Football matches, pirogue races, traditional wrestling; additional and new activities proposed by students and taught to local youth.

  • Workshops
Beside the learning activity days, participants work also side by side with local populations while accomplishing their Community Development Project.

  • Artistic Activities
Africa is a land extremely rich with artistic skills: dance, drumming, painting, music and sculpture; the learning possibilities are therefore multiple and enlightening.

  • Community Development Project
An assistance action to local population will be accomplished by the participants; funding is included in the total budget.

  • Traditional Ceremonies
Discovery won’t be complete without understanding the deep rooting of parties inside African way of living; participants will be then invited to attend traditional celebrations (several times given in their honour).

Our programs are conceived to provide a deep and different discovery of places and populations; to initiate true exchanges, with the concern of providing a deeper learning and personal investment.
Our goal is to generate a source of inspiration to reflect upon, which will surely exceed the borders of their voyage…

Traveling to Senegal for a month through H.E.L.P. was the most amazing
and influential month of my life so far.

Thank you to the entire staff of H.E.L.P. for a memorable and incredible trip.

GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR STUDENTS !!!
I have recently returned to Colorado after traveling for 3 weeks through the Casamance region with
10 high school students and HELP Travel.
The experience was profound. HELP delivered on its promise to offer a custom program and connect us, genuinely, with the people and culture.
For the first time in my many years of leading such trips, the students, and myself, were not longing to return to the comforts of home.
Rather, though we were excited to see our families and beds, we were reticent to leave the connected, raw and "pas de probleme" way of life we experienced in Senegal for 3 brilliant weeks.
